I was home all day
on Friday when the work was done. My home office
overlooks the single story roof so I could directly
observe one team of two men all morning. I want to
commend all five of them. They worked smart, worked fast
and never let up from 7:00 am to sometime after 7:00
p.m. They finished the job in one day.
You were right
about the clean-up. Alex and the other team members were
meticulous, combing an arc well away from the house to
be sure they got every little piece of cellophane
backing. What was also interesting was that they didn't
stand around at the end letting one or two guys do all
the work. They shared the responsibility as a team.
The dumpster was
delivered to the exact spot I wanted it because Alex
signaled the driver. The dumpster was removed shortly
after 8:00 am on the next business day after the roof
was done.
The team did you
proud and I'm a very pleased customer.

My husband and I
stumbled on Old School Roofing in the phone book after
being unfamiliar with any local roofers in the area.
They turnedout to be a perfect choice for us. After
speaking with Dan from Old School Group on the phone, he
came over that very same day and was able to give us an
idea of what kind of shape our old roof was in. He even
looked up into our attic to check for damage. He told us
about the variety of roofs they offer, as well as
information about the company. We were excited about
possibly working with a local company that was owned and
run by people who had so much experience in the roofing
industry. In the mean time, we met with several other
roofing companies, but all lacked something that Old
School Roofing could offer. A few days after meeting
with Old School Roofing, we were sent a very thorough
and professional packet of information. Included in the
packet were photographs of our roof from all angles,
they even took pictures from the top! We also received
shingle samples, information about the company, and an
estimate of what work would be done on our roof. We were
quite impressed with their presentation and expertise.
Once we decided to go with Old School Roofing, my
husband and I went down to their showroom in North
Chelmsford and were able to look at the variety of
styles and colors of roofs they had to offer. We decided
on a color and they were able to share with us a few
houses in the area that had the same color, so that we
could drive by for our selves to make sure that we loved
the color for our house.
We were able to book an appointment for the following
week. They came to our house in the morning and had
about five guys here working all day. They had completed
our whole house and garage by 6:00pm. We were so
impressed with their cleanliness and care of our
property, that we hardly knew that they were here! The
roof now looks beautiful and gives our house a fresh new
look. We have already gotten several complements from
the neighbors!!! Throughout the whole process we were
very happy with Old School Roofing’s professionalism and
care and would highly recommend them to anyone!

"We have hired Old School twice: once to clear a large
accumulation of snow and ice off our roof, and again to
replace the roof.
We found the company very pleasant to work with in a
very unpleasant situation ... having roof problems
necessitating replacement isn't exactly high on my list
of fun things to deal with. The Old School guys quoted
us quickly, came in with a very competitive price, were
quick to answer questions, and were easy to contact both
via phone and email. Their workmen were very pleasant
and did an excellent job of installation and cleanup.
The owners were onsite regularly during the job, and
didn't subcontract their work Materials arrived when we
were told they would arrive, the dumpster left when we
were told it would leave, and the job was done on
schedule (modulo weather related delays).
While I hope to never need roofing services again, I
would not hesitate to call them back if I did. We
recommend them highly."
